Melina Kanakaredes Melina Kanakaredes, an American actor, is famous for her roles as the character Dr. Sydney Hansen in the NBC drama Providence and Dr. Lane Hunter in The Resident. Her first major role in the series as Eleni andros Cooper in the CBS soap series Guiding Light was also praised. A few of her most memorable films includes 15 Minutes Percy Jackson and The Olympians: The Lightning Thief and Snitch. The Wheel of Life, written by Elisabeth Kubler Ross and adapted into a film with Vlas Parlapanides (the duo who came up with the Immortals) is said to be in development.
