Ally Sheedy

Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy is an American actor from the United States. She was born on June 13th in 1962. Following her film debut in 1983's Bad Boys she became known for her role in the Brat Pack of actors. She was also on the screen in WarGames (1983) The Breakfast Club (1985) and Short Circuit (1986). Sheedy received an Independent Spirit Award Best Female Actress for her part in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (1998). Ally Sheedy is an American actor and author. Her movie career started in the early 1980s, when she appeared as a crime drama actress, Bad Boys. The film was written and directed by Rick Rosenthal also starred other well-known actors like Sean Penn Esai Morales Clancy Brown and Alan Ruck. She appeared as a character in The Breakfast Club in 1985 the comedy following her initial fame. The film by John Hughes called The Breakfast Club has been hailed as being among the the best high school films. Even though the budget of the film was only $1 million its profits exceeded $50 million. Also, she began to appear on a number of television programs, such as CBS Schoolbreak. This was her debut on television. In April 1980, the show began to air. The show was designed for teenagers. Other shows on TV she was in are Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid and Hill Street Blues. The most recent of her appearances is Little Sister, a film that follows a super-hero, in which Sheedy plays a small cameo. Sheedy is the recipient of numerous awards for her outstanding performances, which include the MTV Movie Award Silver Bucket of Excellence Award.
